The Tragedy of King Lear
Seduction, treachery and deceit reign in FTE's production of The Tragedy of King Lear, playing as part of the 4th Annual Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival.
As the aged King of Britain prepares to hand over control of his realm to his daughters, a power struggle has already begun. The King loses control as he is blinded to the advice of the faithful and trustworthy. Brought to madness by the heartless actions of his children, the old King must face his mistakes and find some kind of redemption, or be doomed to an exile of the body and mind.
