Ever wonder how birds got their human names: Nuttall, Townsend, Steller, Gamble, Brandt, Forster, Wilson, Allen (the only Marin County person with his own species named after him) and all those other folks with namesake birds? Harry Fuller, who has studied bird-naming, will relate the fascinating stories of how the species we all know received their now-familiar names.
