Bird Ecology of Limantour
Limantour Beach is a long narrow spit of sand located between Drakes Bay and an estuary, and it is a bountiful wildlife area. Scores of shorebirds feed in the wetlands and along the beach. Learn about the area's ecosystem and bird biology on a walk along the salt marsh and mud flats of Limantour Estero. Beach walking.
