Giacomini Wetlands
As the Point Reyes National Seashore's birdlife consultant on the Giacomini Wetlands restoration and one who conducted pre- and post-restoration surveys, Jules Evens is particularly well-suited to explain the project and the ongoing changes in bird life. Join him for a look at the wetlands from all the best areas for birding, including an overlook located on private property. Learn about salt marsh ecology and restoration, and see the birds that now inhabit the wetlands. Easy walking.
