Birding Abbott's Lagoon
Flanking the Pacific Ocean and Point Reyes' Great Beach, Abbott's Lagoon attracts a host of migrant, roosting, and wintering waterbirds and threatened breeding species such as the snowy plover. On this outing, Alvaro Jaramillo will share his extensive knowledge of the distribution and identification of the many bird species participants will see on the outing. Moderate walking, including off trail.
