Secrets of a Familiar Neighbor
Secrets of a Familiar Neighbor provides a glimpse into the little-known life of one of our most common wildlife species: the raccoon. This slide and video presentation includes footage by professional photographer Jack Gescheidt, and is presented by naturalist and wildlife rehabilitator, Megan Isadore. Megan will discuss the habits and social lives of one of most common, yet misunderstood, mammals in Northern California and show some of the methods of working with injured juvenile wild animals while keeping them wild.
