Tomales Bay Waterbird Cruise
Tomales Bay is an extremely productive estuary where tens of thousands of scoters, scaup, bufflehead, brant, loons, and grebes feed during the winter and spring migration. This open boat ride will give participants an appreciation for the variety of waterbirds found in the bay. This cruise will access waters near the mouth of the bay, a zone difficult to see from shore. Here the group may observe some of the less common loon and grebe species.
