Birds and Other Residents of the Cordell Bank
Jennifer Stock, Outreach Coordinator of the Cordell Bank Marine Sanctuary, will describe the birds and other wildlife which thrive at this unique natural feature off the California coast. Upwellings feed abundant productivity at this seamount, resulting in numerous birds, marine mammals, and an amazing fish and invertebrate population. Jennifer will bring photos and video of what researchers have found out there, just off the California coast, and describe how the Sanctuary is working to preserve and enhance its wildlife.
