Las Gallinas and Rush Creek

Carpool meets at Dance Palace 7:30 A.M.
Point Reyes Station, CA

Las Gallinas is a favorite destination of Marin County birders.  The treatment ponds host a wide variety of wading, shore, and open water birds.  Surrounding vegetation is home to many chaparral and grasslands birds as well.  This outing will also visit Rush Creek, where shorebirds and other waterbirds congregate in the estuary and landbirds visit surrounding oak woodlands.  Easy walking.
