MATA Interval presents the [Switch~ Ensemble]: New Works for Ensemble & Multimedia at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music on Friday, May 15th at 8:00pm, curated by Jason Thorpe Buchanan and the [Switch~ Ensemble]. Featuring six strikingly diverse works by composers Stylianos Dimou, Zach Sheets, Wojtek Blecharz, Stefan Prins, and Jason Thorpe Buchanan, these five composers incorporate a wide range of technology and multimedia including live electronic processing, video projection, and real-time compositing of video capture on stage in a coruscating synthesis of digital media with acoustic instruments and singers.
