Come on out for a fun night of Speed Dating at TABAQ BISTRO benefiting a great cause -- The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
12 for 12 -- 12 DATES FOR ONLY $12. Proceeds from this event will go towards the research and help of those battling blood cancers.

WHAT: Speed Dating benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

TIME(S):
SESSION 1 - Check-in begins at 5:30 PM. SPEED DATING begins at 6:30 PM
SESSION 2 - Check-in begins at 8:30 PM. SPEED DATING begins at 9:30 PM.
COST: $12
There will also be a cash bar, happy hour menu, and fantastic RAFFLE prizes throughout the event!

AGE - You will be assigned one of two age groups for your session, based on RSVPs. (Each session will have two age groups running concurrently).

HOW IT WORKS - Each participant will have a total of 12 dates -- Start with 6 dates lasting 5 mins each with a minute to move on to the next (approx 30 mins). There will then be a 30 minute break for drinks, food, and raffles, followed by the final 6 dates. Women will remain at their seats and Men will rotate to the next table. Didn't get a chance to have a date with someone who caught your eye? No worries. Socializing will continue until 11:30 PM, so there is plenty of time to mingle. Speed dating should be completed by 8 PM for the 1st group and around 11 PM for the second group.

******When you register, please select either GROUP 1 (5:30 PM - 8 PM) or GROUP 2 (8:30 PM - 11 PM) as well as your gender: MALE or FEMALE. IF YOU GENDER DOES NOT APPEAR, THERE ARE NO TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR THAT SESSION AND WAITLIST INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED. PLEASE DO NOT SELECT THE OTHER GENDER.******

******You will be asked for all your contact information during the registration process; however, ONLY couples who indicate mutual interest will be provided the EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER of the other party after the event -- No home addresses will be given out to anyone.******

Metro Accessible: Tabaq Bistro is located just five minutes walking distance from the U Street/African American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo Metro stop on the Green/Yellow line.

Parking: Valet Parking at Tabaq is $20; also, the Frank D. Reeves Municipal Center at 2000 14th Street NW (intersection of 14th and U Streets) parking garage is available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. The garage entrance is located off the U Street side of the building.
