QSpeak Theatre - At the End of the Day
A Play About LGBTQ and Homeless Youth living in the Phoenix Valley. ************************************************************ ONLINE TICKET SALES WILL END THE DAY OF THIS EVENT. PLEASE PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE DOOR IF ONLINE SALES HAVE ENDED. ************************************************************ QSpeak Theatre, currently a program of Phoenix Theatre, is one of twelve LGBTQ youth theatre programs in the country and is a model for other companies in creating educational theatrical performances using true stories and experiences of local youth. This year, QSpeak partners with Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development to create a production that will address youth homelessness across the Phoenix valley. Over 50 youth have already participated in the process of developing a script and many more youth will continue to be part of the entire process including writing, directing, acting, designing and running the show.
The production this year will serve as a fundraiser for The GreenHouse Project, the only LGBTQ transitional living program for homeless youth in the valley. All proceeds from this event will help bring necessary housing resources to homeless youth.
