PWOB presents: Tools of Change
Join us for a fundraising event on February 18, 2011. A group of Seattle University professionals established Professional With Out Boundaries (PWOB) as a way to empower the campus community to engage in and lead sustainable service projects to help people in need both locally and globally. This event aims to support and continue the growth of such projects. We want you to be a part of our success and vision. PWOB-Seattle University is a 501(C) 3 non-profit organization. All proceeds go directly to the projects supported by PWOB-Seattle University. We have no payroll as we volunteer our time and skills. People on the ground (on location) are from the network of SU Alumni and Jesuit scholars; they are volunteers who live at our host location. This model works, is sustainable, and teaches the students how to reach beyond their boundaries; connecting the mind to what matters. These are the projects coming up in 2011: Construction of waterwheel projects in multiple locations, including Zambia, Africa, and various improvements for the L'Arche Community in Seattle, Washington. In addition to music and dancing, food and fun, the event will feature a raffle, and live and silent auctions. We would truly be honored if you would help us in this endeavor. It is through generous, compassionate people and organizations like yours that ensures the world can be a better place- for all of us.
