Previously Secret Information 1/16
Good comedians have the ability to reduce a 30-minute experience to a 30 second joke. Joe Klocek, one of San Francisco's finest comedians, wants to reverse that process. After performing comedy for 15 years he's eager NOT to condense events to a set-up and a punchline. He wants to tell the story behind the punchline. So, Joe created a storytelling series and in the process assembled a remarkable group of San Francisco's top stand-up comics, solo performers and storytellers. It occurs at StageWerx, an intimate space that is  superb  for telling stories.

ZAHRA NOORBAKHSH
>>   "The Good, the Bad, and the Muslim"
As an Iranian-American Muslim woman, Zahra loves Thanksgiving. The apple cider on the stove, the piping hot mash potatoes, the thick creamy gravy, and crispy golden stuffed Turkey on the dinner table keeps her in longing all year. But this story has nothing to do with Thanksgiving.  It has to do with her white boyfriend's sister-n-law, named Poodle, and the fate of all Muslims at Christmas time yes, even the good Muslims.  I know. The GOOD Muslims?!

JOE KLOCEK
>>  "Drop Out"
Three months into Freshman year I dropped out of school never to return. When my parents brought me to the school superintendent, much to their surprise, I talked him into giving me a work permit and agreeing that school wasnât for everyone. This began my real education, a career as a paper boy and escaping immediate consequences from authority because they never thought to look for me in the library.

NINA G.
>>  "The Queen's Speech:  The adventures of an outspoken women who stutters"
The experience of women who stutter has yet to be told by the media. The best I have seen is on the Howard Stern show and you can imagine how that went. I am the worldâs funniest female comedian who stutters. At least until I find another one.  These are my thoughts on the media, dating and asserting my own voice.

JAWAD ALI
>>  "NATO Love Parade"
Jawad organizes a love parade at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.  Some things do not work out as planned
