Thank you for your interest in purchasing tickets to Morningside Opera's production of "Atra, ossia, l'amore ricordato". Online advance sales for tonight's performance are closed, but tickets can be purchased in cash at will-call at the venue from 7PM on the date of the performance on a first-come, first-serve basis. Atra, ossia, l'amore ricordato

Be part of the world premiere of a new Handel opera entitled "Atra, ossia, l'amore ricordato" (Atra, or The Remembered Love) on 4 and 5 February 2011 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater in Manhattan!

Atra is a pasticcio comprised of a selection of Handel's best arias woven together by a new, thoroughly modern plot evoking themes from traditional opera seria. This multimedia production draws on projection, film, dance, music, and words---both spoken and written---to create a new opera, both in content and presentation, that resonates with contemporary interests and concerns.

Event run time is approximately 90 minutes, without intermission.
