Now and Then: University of Washington
This tour covers the development of the current UW campus, specifically focusing on buildings designed for the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition and later purchased by the University. Tour includes photos of original AYP construction in conjunction with discussion of current UW architecture.
In conjunction with MOHAI and the University of Washington, SAF is pleased to announce an accompanying booklet. The booklet provides a self-guided tour route along with historic and contemporary photos for each stop. The booklet is available at a discount rate of $5 with each ticket purchase and will also be stocked at select retail locations.
Note: This tour lasts approximately two hours and begins at the George Washington statue which is in front of Meany Hall and the UW Visitors Center. Advance registration is strongly encouraged; walk-ups are limited to space available. The tour is $20 per person in advance, $25 in advance with booklet; MOHAI Members: $15 per person in advance, $20 in advance with booklet. Price for walk-ups on day of tour is $25 without the booklet (exact change only).
