The Basketmaker
Set in rural Massachusetts in 1725. A lonely woman and her young daughter live in an isolated wood, estranged from everyone and each other until a wandering Abenaki basketmaker comes into their lives. A crisis forces them to accept this stranger and work together with her leading to reconciliation of the daughter with her mother and the mother with her past. A lovely and meaningful story about forgiveness and understanding. Director - David Baughan
