Art Deco: Risky Business in the Roaring '20s
Revisit the 1920s and learn how technology, archeology and French design innovations influenced the construction of impressive buildings with lush lobbies in Seattle and learn why the era of Art Deco architecture was so brief.
NOTE: Tour starts at SAF Gallery, 1333 Fifth Avenue, Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98101. If you enter Rainier Square through the Gold's Gym entrance, simply follow the stairs up to the third level and turn left. Tour lasts approximately two hours. $15 in advance / $25 day of. Advance purchase is highly recommended; spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All tours are conducted rain or shine. Tour participants are responsible for their own personal safety. Most routes involve hills, stairs, escalators, and elevators. This tour is not recommended for children under age 12.
