This premiere work explores our individual and collective methods of dealing with life circumstances as well as our preoccupation with the scary and bizarre while ignoring some of the inevitabilities of living. Both thoughtful and humorous, it invites the audience to consider the many ways in which they deal with life situations and how adaptable and resilient they are.
The PTDT continues their 30th anniversary season with this premiere piece. Known for work that integrates a strong sense of athleticism and technical training with idiosyncratic movements and a diverse range of movers, the PTDT is not just dance, but a theatrical experience as well. The score to which the work is set combines text, storytelling, and a wide range of contemporary music
