Metropolitan District Dinner Meeting and Annual Election
Today's implant dentistry relies heavily on computer based case planning. This technology is rapidly becoming the standard of care by providing a level of precision here-to-for unimaginable. It -
• Is restoratively driven, eliminating guesswork on implant and tooth position
• Allows for utilization of minimal bone in patients previously thought to be untreatable without grafting,
• Permits implant placement directly through the gingiva resulting in minimal post-operative discomfort or swelling and no sutures.
• Can be used for delayed or immediate restoration at implant insertion.
• Is applicable for single teeth, short span, and complete arch restorations

Key elements in this technology are that it provides restorative dentists and surgical specialists with a clear communication tool, and the ability to relate the planned restoration to implant supporting bone and soft tissue. Therefore, the implant can be positioned for optimal emergence profile thus insuring the best esthetic and functional result.

This presentation will show how this technology has simplified treatment planning concepts and how easy it can be incorporated into both restorative and surgical practices.

You will understand:

• CT 3D software and its role in implant dentistry
• How to set up a case for CT scanning
• The importance of the CT radiographic guide
• How computer guided case planning works
• How to make computer guided case presentations
• Sequencing of treatment and case management
