It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play
Kenyon Hall Seattle, WA
The classic 1946 Frank Capra film comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. The ensemble of characters bring the town of Bedford Falls to the stage, and George Bailey to the fateful Christmas Eve when, as he contemplates ending his life, he finally realizes what a difference he makes in the lives of others. "One of the best holiday shows around. This is a fresh and inventive way of reconnecting with a classic story of love and redemption." Chicago Sun-Times. This radio play was created by playwright Joe Landry.
Note: Kenyon Hall is easy to reach from I-5 or 99: come across the West Seattle Bridge, keep to the left as you start up the hill (the Fauntleroy branch) and turn left at the first light (that's 35th SW). Drive a couple of miles and 7904 is on your left. Parking is available on 35th. The play lasts approximately an hour and a half.
