Richardson Farms Tour

Dear Farm Tour Fans:

Please join Slow Food Austin for our tour Sunday October 24, 10-1 at Richardson Farms in Rockdale! The Richardsons know everything there is to know about raising and cooking natural pastured meats - pork, beef, chicken, eggs, your HOLIDAY TURKEY - and there will be plenty to see and taste.

Rockdale is about an hour's drive northeast from Austin. The tour begins at 10 a.m. with coffee, Richardson bacon and jalapeno cheddar rolls courtesy of Texas French Bread Bakery, and then a pleasant walk-and-talk in the cool fall weather with Jim and Kay around the farm. At the end of the tour we'll gather to choose our own take-home items. Tickets are $20 and the purchase price is redeemed for meats of your choice.
