CONVERSATIONS
CONVERSATIONS details the strained relationship between a young couple barely surviving the urban American experience. This story of frustrations, addictions, shared history, and spirituality unfolds through the poetry of Baltimore performance artists jaki-terry and David "Native Son" Ross. Through intimate experiences and inviting rituals, a man and a woman struggle to discover how to create a home.
CONVERSATIONS is a play adapted from the beautiful & lyrical poetry of Baltimore's own jaki-terry & David "Native Son" Ross. Music & sound design by J. Pope. Photography by Phylicia Ghee. Featuring performances by Michelle "LOVE the Poet" Nelson & Martique Smith. CONVERSATIONS is the directorial debut of Danielle-Aneesha Fuller.
The Strand Theater is a very intimate space... a cozy 50 seat theater... which makes it the perfect place for CONVERSATIONS.
