Farm Potluck for Climate Change
Local and responsible food production is good for our community and good for the planet. Join The Whole Plate on its debut farm tour to Heron Pond Farms!
We'll minimize our carbon to get to the farm. Meet at Lincoln Heights, 29th & Regal (behind the KFC), and everyone will carpool or bike from there (4.25 miles).
Once on farm, we'll visit the goats, see the cheese-making facility, see the pigs, learn about the importance of supporting local food production.
The final fun is enjoying a great potluck lunch of local dishes contributed by the attendees! Not to worry, carpoolers can carry biker dishes as needed.
