The Last Night of Ballyhoo
"Gone with the Wind" is having its world premiere, and Hitler is invading Poland, but Atlanta's elitist German Jews are much more concerned with who is going to Ballyhoo, the social event of the season. Especially concerned is the Freitag family. Events take several unexpected turns as the family is forced to face how they identify with who they are and where they come from. "The Last Night of Ballyhoo" is directed by Jason Rost and features an ensemble cast comprised of Larry Garner, Lori Grupp, Liz Hoffman, Jason Kellerman, Sarah Latin-Kasper, Darrelyn Marx, and Austin Oie.
"The Last Night of Ballyhoo" by Alfred Uhry opens Saturday November 27th at the historic North Lakeside Cultural Center and will run Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30P and Sundays at 2P, November 27th through December 19th.
