f.stop / let the light in is Alias Dance Project's next full evening of remounted and original works, featuring the premiere of 2 works by Francesca Chudnoff, 1 by Lauren Cook, and a remount co-choreographed by Lauren Cook and Troy Feldman.
With the collective energy of diverse artists and collaborators, and the opening of a new home for creation and performance, this mixed program marks the beginning to an exciting new chapter for Alias Dance Project.
Through shifting states of consciousness, f.stop / let the light in guides us through a tunnel of lightness and darkness, revealing the challenges of those trapped inside.
Alias Dance Project deconstructs traditional dance forms, and by creating unlikely relationships, states and situations, we challenge ourselves as dance artists, as well as our audiences experience and relationship to dance.
Featuring: Caitlin Amodeo, Francesca Chudnoff, Lauren Cook, Amanda Davis, Nigel Edwards, Troy Feldman, and Catherine Turcotte.
