Marce, his wife Adriana, their son Mario, and their daughter Jaqueline, as well as Carmelo, Jaqueline's boyfriend, are the only members of the Aztlán Circus, which roams the villages of Texcoco, on the outskirts of Mexico City. The Tightrope is the story of a family that insists on keeping the circus going because they are convinced of the transcendence of their art.
