At first, Morten Traavik's "Miss Landmine" pageant seems like a picture-perfect opportunity to empower and celebrate its contestants and bring awareness to a troubled Cambodian population. But as the contest gains momentum, opponents in the government, and even the expatriate community, grow more determined to shut him down. Beautiful photoshoots and affecting interviews with the women of the pageant bolster the cause - and the film.
