I Just Can't Get Enough: 80's New Wave Singalong
Let's face it: punk scared people. In order to break into the mainstream, the feelings of isolation and discord with the corporate world would somehow have to undergo a radical transformation that made it more palatable for that very world it tried to rebel against: enter the 'new wave.' We've put together a killer show with the one-hit wonders and the legends of pop all feeding off of each other in a wonderfully independent flourescent-hued flash of a future that still feels like it's on the way even though it's all from over 20 years ago. We'll melt with you at the Roxie on Oct 16!
