A filmic tribute to persistence, Dutch filmmaker Alkema spent years playing hide-and-seek with his elusive musical idol, Sly Stone. He found Stone on a dead-end street in the Los Angeles hills, recovering from a motorcycle accident, stolen royalties, and the downside of fame and fortune. Five more years of emails, calls, and promises later, Stone finally agreed to sit down for his first filmed interview in over 20 years.
