Winter Concert 2010 - "Timbrel and Harp"
Join the Girl Choir of South Florida for their Winter Concert "Timbrel and Harp". Enjoy an array of carols and songs of the season, along with the sounds of the harp, organ, flute, and hammered dulcimer. The concert will include music from ancient to modern times, with lyrics from the sublime to the silly. With selections such as Kirke Mechem's "Seven Joys of Christmas", Conrad Susa's "Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest", "Three Chanukah Songs" by Elliot Levine and William Zukof, founding members of the Western Wind, and even a little P.D.Q. Bach and Bing Crosby , there's something for everyone!
