Party with a Purpose for the Oakland Food Policy Council
Join us for an informative and fun afternoon in support of the Oakland Food Policy Council (O.F.P.C.).
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet O.F.P.C. Council Members and participate in the process of building the future of the O.F.P.C. We will mingle while holding a silent auction and enjoy some short films. Anna Lappe, author of Diet for a Hot Planet, and Jason Harvey, Executive Director of the Oakland Food Connection, will be speaking. Delicious food from the Pizzaiola menu, excellent Linden St. beers, and local wines will sustain us throughout the event.
The O.F.P.C. helps bring together the many stakeholders in Oakland's food system and build the relationships and momentum needed to make the food system equitable and sustainable.
