What's actually happening in South America at the beginning of the new millenium? But how to portray the spirit of what is happening in a single film? About three years ago, director Gonzalo Arijon asked himself these questions, and inspired by the book 'The Open Veins of Latin America' by Eduardo Galeano-the same book Hugo Chavez of Venezuela gave to President Obama as present- he finally grabbed his camera and embarked on a journey.
