Javon Johnson's HOMEBOUND
Set in a boys' home in South Carolina, Javon Johnson's Homebound tells the story of four Black teenage boys: Spit, Smoke, Kane and Raymond, and their search to find the answers to the eternal questions: Who am I, and if I leave, will anyone notice? Homebound weaves the individual stories of these outcasts to create a world where we, the audience, are taken on a journey of self-determination alongside these four young men. Throughout this production, we witness the true nature and importance of fraternity, family and faith.
