Living Downstream in Champaign-Urbana (Film Screening)
Living Downstream will be screened on Saturday October 16, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Art Theater in Champaign, IL!
Based on the acclaimed book by Illinois native, ecologist, and cancer survivor Sandra Steingraber, Ph.D., Living Downstream is a visceral and cinematic documentary. This film follows Sandra around North Americaâ"and back to central Illinoisâ"as she works to break the silence about cancer and its environmental links.
Join author Sandra Steingraber and filmmaker Chanda Chevannes at the Normal Theater as they present Living Downstream in one of five screenings in Illinois this October. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session and a book signing of the newly updated second edition of Living Downstream, hosted by Jane Addams Book Shop.
This screening is a special presentation by The Land Connection.
*NOTE: Tickets purchased online using the "will call" option will be held at the Art Theater, and can be collected one hour before the screening. Tickets will be sold online until the end of the day on October 15. After this time, tickets will still be available for purchase in-person at The Art Theater one hour before the screening.
Tickets may also be purchased in person directly from The Art Theater.
