Can a real woman be a drag queen? Performance artist/dancer Monique Jenkinson attempts to answer that question at the Climate Theater as her alter-ego Fauxnique. Part transplanted nightclub act, part meditation on artifice and authenticity, part dress-up play date, Faux Real revels in the tension between the glamour of performance and the intimacy of its living, breathing moment.
