** Johnny Monsoon LSC | USC | Beat Affinity | O.N.E.| JohnnyMonsoon.com After several years of hard work, Johnny has become one of the USs brightest up and coming trance DJs . From an opening set where you d hear a melodic progressive sound, to a peak hour set full of uplifting euphoric trance, he continues to push the envelope night after night. You can find his live sets being shared in online forums and airing on internet radio stations all over the world. He had his own show on c89.5fm (one of the most popular electronic radio stations in the nation) for over 2 years. He has a podcast series on iTunes called The Sound of Trance that is consistently ranked in the top 25 audio podcasts and is one of the most popular on all of iTunes. With roughly 120,000+ downloads per episode and growing, it's clear that people all over the world are taking notice. Hes now spending most of his free time in the studio working on taking that step up towards the next level. ** Chris Paape O.N.E. | Talo | http://chrispaape.com/ Chris was introduced to electronic music in the mid 80s when the music was relatively simple sequenced MOD files that circulated around the world on private BBS (bulletin board systems). The sounds that were being produced were unlike any traditional music of the time and finding the next cool track became an obsession. Trained in percussion at an early age from orchestral timpani to modern drums, rhythm came natural to Chris. That rhythm and an understanding of how music is constructed made for a very fast transition from Clubber to DJ. Chris now finds himself holding down various residencies as well as regularly opening up nights for the likes of Christopher Lawrence, Judge Jules, Josh Gabriel, Push (aka M.I.K.E.), George Acosta, D:Fuse, Thomas Bronzwaer and more. Chris is drawn to the deeper / darker corner of Electronic Dance Music and that is reflected in his sets which tend to be a mixture of Techno, Tech and Progressive House. Listeners can always expect a smooth and rhythmic journey through the sound of Chris Paape.
** Kai Larrabee Trinity Nightclub, Seattle | Last Supper Club | Progressive Electro House Needless of any introduction, Kai has been known around the circuit for throwing down some of the best electronic mixupx around town. Kai is currently a very popular resident DJ @Trinity nightclub in Seattle. He has been producing 'n mixing house music, played around the local underground house gigs and rave scene, for the past decade. He has an uncanny ability to mix and deliver mesmerizing vibrations, which will keep you sticking and swinging on the dance floor.
** Jeromy Nail Uniting Souls Music | Rythmatik | http://jeromynail.com/mixes.html Legend has it that Jeromy began his journey into music at the age of 3 when he slaughtered his first buffalo on the plains of the Serengeti by hand, stretched and tanned its skin, and crafted his first drum. The rhythm has been in his blood ever since and he is known to still spin on buffalo hide slipmats to remind him of his roots.
** Miguel Alvarado Lets Get Dirty, Seattle, US | Seesound Lounge Born and raised in Mexico City, Miguel Alvarado was exposed to music at a young age. His influences came from family, friends, and the environments that he grew up in. Miguel began to play music with live bands, playing drums and Latin Percussion, as well as using computers to bring electronic elements to the live acts. At the same time, he spent a lot of time in clubs, in which he found a deep interest in DJ ing. During that time, Miguel became acquainted with the New York House scene by listening to a weekly radio show in Mexico city, which often times would broadcast from New York city. Miguels early music background is what makes him different from a lot of DJs . For Miguel, getting behind the decks is not just about mixing and programming, but its a full act. Miguels deep appreciation for a wide range of music genres , makes his electronic dance music range quite diverse as well. From deep melodic textures, to full, complex and some times exotic percussive patterns. For Miguel, playing a DJ set is about creating a story that will stimulate the audiences imagination, but also push them to have fun, feel liberated and free. In order to push what one believes in, it is necessary to create a platform that will support all elements of a vision. Miguel has been creating a platform under the Lets Get Dirty umbrella. Lets Get Dirty is the name of his night that takes place in the 2 clubs for which Miguel has residencies in Seattle. Trinity Nightclub and See Sound Lounge, both of which have very different atmospheres, and host a wide variety of international names such as John Digweed, Steve Lawler, James Lavelle, Djuma Soundsystem, Adam Freeland, M.A.N.D.Y., and the list goes on and on.
** Bryce McKamey Seesound Lounge With 20+ years DJ'ing under his belt, See Sound creator has made a serious impact on dance culture in the Northwest. His energetic sets are eclectic pulling from all genres with growing artillery of his own remixes and edits. Bryce is ready to let go and keep your feet shuffling on the dance floor.
