2nd Annual Smokin' Day Festival
Sweet P's BBQ is hosting the Smokin' Day Festival on Saturday August 28th from 4pm until 10pm. Featuring a down home authentic pig roast! The roasting starts the day before delivering the finest flavor for our annual event. All you can eat all day long, the 2nd Annual Smokin' Day Festival is a celebration in your mouth. A mere $20 gets you in the door to the land of all you can eat and fine music but if you wait until the last minute, it'll cost you another $5. If you are feeling particularly lucky, the Smokin' Day Festival will offer you the opportunity to try that luck at Corn Hole. Competitive and good-natured, the Corn Hole Competition is fun for participants and spectators alike. There will be an entry fee and there will be prizes. Good prizes.
Banana. Pudding. Eating. Contest. True Story. Five participants will be onstage with the famous Sweet P's Banana Pudding, devouring the goodness. Pudding eating will take place on the mainstage and be a highlight of the festival. Bring your own bib. There will be an entry fee and prizes will be awarded.
Americana, Country and Soul music will be performed live throughout the afternoon and evening. We've wrangled local favorites Aftah Party, Naughty Knots, 3 Uncles and Kevin Buchmeier to join the roasting and entertain the masses.
