Kamau is quickly rising in the social/political comedy world. His solo show, "The W. Kamau Bell Curve: Ending Racism in About an Hour" has been selling out in the bay area for years. He was named "Comedian of the Year" by the SF Weekly last year and he just took the show to PS122 in New York for the soloNova Festival, where it received rave reviews and was extended by two additional weeks. Kamau will be performing at this year's Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, where his set will be filmed for air on HBO Canada. He's also participating in the 2010 Facing Race Conference in Chicago this September.
