Good News opened in 1927 on Broadway based on a book by Laurence Schwab and B.G. DeSylva. Lyrics by DeSylva and Lew Brown Music by Ray Henderson. It is a wonderful love story set in the Roaring Twenties at Tait College.
The story is set in the Roaring Twenties at Tait College, where football star falls in love with a studious coed, who is tutoring him so he can pass astronomy and be eligible to play in the big game.
