Program #2 - "Circo" - Artist Documentary Program
"Circo" (feature film) looks at The Ponce Family and their hardscrabble family circus that has lived and performed on the back roads of Mexico since the 19th century. But can their way of life survive into the 21st century?
"La Vida Perturable" (short film) looks at the life of Mexican poet Dolores Castro, now 90 years old, and the poetry she has contributed to Mexican culture inspired by her hometown of Zacatecas. This short documentary will precede the feature presentation.
