Listen To Your Mother - Southeast Texas
Are you a mom? Have a mom? Want to be a mom? Then you are sure to love this show that celebrates all things mom by "giving motherhood a microphone".
The LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER SHOW is a national series of 39 live story-telling shows that feature local writers reading their heartfelt, hilarious, and inspirational stories of motherhood. The second annual Southeast Texas show is May 9, 2014 at the Lamar University Theater at 7:00 pm.
A portion of ticket proceeds from the Southeast Texas show will be donated to the Julie Rogers Gift of Life program, which benefits medically underserved men and women of Southeast Texas through cancer screenings and educational outreach programs.
This event is locally sponsored by Divergent Theater, Whole Mothering Center, and Flora Padilla Photography..
