Last year was a huge success and we are very excited about this years gathering. More great entertainment and of course spectacular food...so...Grab a blanket and your friends and family, a favourite bottle of wine and get away to Mississippi for the day in Elysian Park. We all need a good reason to stop and kick back for a day and what better way to do it than the way we learned to do it back home. Mix one part good people with a dash of good food and a little bit of great music. The donation for tickets helps to cover the costs for food, music and beverage that is all provided at the picnic.
This annual event brings together Mississippians and the people of Los Angeles to celebrate the music, food, art, cultural history, literature and industry of Mississippi. Every year, since 1976 Mississippians have gathered together at the Mississippi Picnic to celebrate their heritage and connect with other Mississippians living in the Los Angeles area.
Note: At Elysian Park, Entrance on Stadium Way, between Academy Dr. and Scott Ave.
