New York City's Greenwich Village Walking Tours
Greenwich Village Walking Tours was started by an artist living in the village who has an undying love and interest in the history of her surroundings and the idea of storytelling itself. The tours started small and spread by word of mouth. This tour has become one of the most unique and fascinating walking tours in Manhattan because of the genuine interest, passion, and attachment to the neighborhood shown by the guides. Each and every guide is a village resident and is truly pleased to have you as his or her guest. Touring with a local is truly the best way to see this fast paced, ever-changing neighborhood. You will certainly not be disappointed and will not soon forget this unique glimpse into the past and very much alive present state of one of the most rich and dynamic neighborhoods in the world. At the conclusion of each and every tour, guests will have the opportunity to view an artist's studio as well as take home a hand-crafted surprise souvenir piece of artwork made especially for you.

Each Greenwich Village Walking Tour begins at the crossroads of the Village, the corner of Bleecker and MacDougal Streets. From there you will meet your guide and embark on your tour through New York City's Greenwich Village. We will thoroughly investigate the culturally rich MacDougal Street as well as the history of Washington Square Park and among other landmarks in central Greenwich Village, the former centerpoint of New York Society. Each tour is approximately 45 minutes long. Highlights of the tour include stories about the ancient beatnick hangouts and underground music clubs in the Village and what they have become tody as well as surprise you with information about what really lies beneath these paved streets and even a story about what is inside the famous Washington Square Arch. Book your tickets today for the most memorable tour of New York City in one of the worlds most fascinating neighborhoods.
