Rachel and the Elf
RACHEL AND THE ELF are a new comedy troupe in New York City made up of a girl named Rachel and a boy who is ashamed of his name. They perform sketch comedy in a way that should make you cry. Not with laughter, just cry. We apologize in advance for this to the cleaning staff that will have to mop up your tears. This show, "Moments are Intensely Painful," takes a look at the masochistic relationship the performer has with the audience, asking to be laughed at to make themselves feel bad. In other words: please make us feel bad in order to make us feel good. We hate you, but we hate ourselves more.
