Kidscourse 5-Week Cooking Essentials Series for Children

This 5-week Cooking Essentials Series is designed to teach children fundamental cooking techniques while exploring a delicious variety of flavor combinations using fresh, seasonal ingredients. As the "final project" children will assume the chef's toque and prepare a tasting menu of their class favorites to enjoy with parents. From learning basic knife cuts to wet and dry cooking methods, children will gain a hands-on introduction to cooking methods and kitchen equipment that will allow them to turn any fresh ingredients into a delicious and nourishing meal.
Note: Classes meet on Saturdays, September 18, 25, and October 2, 9, 16 and are divided by age group:
Session One includes ages 5-8 and meets for 2 hours from 9:00am - 11:00am,
Fee: $350.
Session Two includes ages 9-12 and meets for 3 hours from 12:00noon - 3:00pm,
Fee: $425
