Blouse party presents their monthly comedy night at The Woods: Is That A Joke's second evening of stand-up comedy at the Woods challenges out-of-towners to share the stage with Portland's best up-and-comers. Who will prevail? A mere six bucks admits you to the comedy Thunderdome.
A man who is simply following his calling, Ron Funches has spent the last several years devastating audiences with his sharp wit and lovable demeanor. Ron's child like attitude and easy going nature hide a man who is clearly wise beyond his years. Jimmy Newstetter is up and coming on the Portland scene and has many funny friends who are all jealous of how funny he is. Will Woodruff is the Peoples Comedian. Will travels countless miles on the the dark lonely highways of America to bring the hard working people laugh relief. No mater what city or town you live in, you can depend on Will Woodruff 'The Peoples Comedian' to find you, entertain you diligently, then send you back home in a euphoric state of comic bliss. Adam Dahl went to school to become a painter but now spends most of his time thinking about jokes. His thoughts weave in and out of each other, painting a bazaar dreamscape in which cartoonish motifs seem to constantly recur.
