SoulSistah Fest 2010 presents A Private Workshop with Queen Afua
On the background of a cultural odyssey of global music,
dance, yoga, workshops, a farmer's market and marketplace, best-selling Author Queen Afua will headline SoulSistah Fest and break-out to do a private workshop! There will be a raffle for a signed copy of your choice of any of Queen Afua's books!

Feminine Body, Mind, and Spirit, Heal Thyself for Health and Longevity, The City of Wellness: Restoring your Health through the Seven Kitchens of Consciousness and her forthcoming title, Overcoming the Angry Vagina: The Journeys, The Stories, The Guide to Womb Wellness will facilitate a private workshop at SoulSistah Fest.
QueenAfua is a world-renowned Certified Wholistic Health Specialist who practices from a uniquely spiritual perspective. She is a certified Colon Therapist,Polarity Practitioner,Hatha Yoga and Ari Ankh Ka Instructor,Lay Midwife,Herbalist,and Fasting Specialist.She has taught Wholistic Health Care at prestigious institutions such as NYC Downstate Medical Center and
Long Island University Medical Center.
A highly sought after lecturer, she has shared her message of health and longevity at NASA, The National Coalition of 100 Black Women and audiences in the Caribbean, Canada and Europe. Her essays and articles have been published in Essence Magazine, Black Elegance, The Amsterdam News and Caribbean Times.
Queen Afua's books have been successful within the national communities because they address issues that are current to the health crisis facing African American,Caribbean,and Spanish communities.
