Know Your Farms 2010 Fall Farm Tour

The annual Know Your Farms tour of farms in the Charlotte, NC area. Purchase a vehicle pass, gather your friends into a vehicle, visit any of the participating farms. Come see sustainable agricultural practices; learn about healthy, local food; pick up tips for your own food garden; and enjoy a day in the countryside! Support your local farmers by attending.
No limit to the number of people per vehicle pass; pass is good for both days of the tour and all farms on the tour.
Cycling? Get your friends and come as a group. One ticket gives entrance to the entire group of cyclists!
Bring a cooler, as the farms will be selling their meat, produce, eggs, and more.
Leave your pets at home.
Note: Farmers work in the rain, so the event will carry on rain or shine. When planning your route, use the maps (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=103224507624483029106.00048b882be5a6b9019c8&z=9) to determine which farms you wish to visit. Given the time at each farm and spent driving between farms, plan on visiting 3-4 farms per day. Vehicle passes are non-refundable.
