Description
The 31st annual American Community Gardening Association (ACGA) conference to be held in Atlanta, will showcase the Atlanta area's community gardens and urban agriculture projects.

The 2010 conference is being held at the Loudermilk Center in the heart of the Atlanta.  Over 3 and a half days, there will workshops, bicycling and bus tours to Atlanta's diverse community gardens and other green sites, keynote speakers, a film festival, the "Taste of the South", silent auction, and more.

Pre-conference session on Thursday, August 5, "Growing Healthy Children From The Ground Up!", explores current successes in using gardening to address childhood obesity. (Be sure to add the separate $60 ticket to your "shopping cart.")

We aim to make the conference accessible to as many community gardeners as possible with a member early registration fee of $200. Be an ACGA member for lowest rates.  Early registration ends June 30.  Refund policy: $25 fee for refunds.  Scholarships available application at www.communitygarden.org.
